What to Expect on Your First Visit

Electrical Stimulation Setup
The day you arrive for your first visit, please provide us with the completed patient forms. After a review of your past medical history and pertinent information regarding the reason for your visit, you will then be given a physical exam that will include orthopedic, neurologic, chiropractic evaluation and testing. If deemed necessary x-rays, MRIs, blood and or urine may be required for further evaluation. The patient referred to the appropriate facility if required.

After a review of the findings, you will then be ready for the treatment, which is the adjustment and typically some electrical stimulation or other adjunctive therapy as needed. The initial office visit will take longer due to the initial exam but take approximately 45 minutes or so. The subsequent office visits will be shorter in time because you will be coming in for only the treatment.

The number of visits will depend on the individual and the severity of the condition and how the patient responds to treatment. Some patients may be fine in a visit or two, and others with more of an issue will require additional treatment. In these cases, the patient seen with more frequency at the beginning of treatment and less as the patient improves. My goal is to see you less because you are feeling better and improving, not more, because you continue to experience pain.
